Hello! Is it true that the jeeps & vans going to Tinglayan only travel at 7am & 8am, & that we would have to wait another day to catch a ride in case we missed those?

HI there! I am researching for a valid method to heal Kalinga tattoos. A friend of mine will visit Whang Od and will get tattooed by her in the next few months, so I was wondering if you could help me 🙂 thank you so much.

Hi llara! Here’s what we did: We got ours right after lunch, chilled the whole afternoon, applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly over the tatt (washed our hands first before applying) Before sleeping the same day, we just washed it lightly with running water. The next day, we washed it again with running water before our trip back to MNL. Before riding the final bus to mnl from Tabuk, we washed it lightly with soap.
The following days in MNL, we just applied thin layer of petroleum jelly daily until the wound heals. Washing daily with soap. Ours healed in just over a week. NOTE: we are not tattoo experts, this is just what worked for us 🙂 hope this helps!
