Transportation:
- Take a bus to Sta. Cruz Zambales. Buses to Sta. Cruz are available from Victory Liner Pasay and Cubao. Travel time 6-7 hours. (Go down at: Uacon Candelaria Barangay Hall)
- Take tricycle to beach jump-off. From Uacon Barangay Hall you can ask a tricycle to bring you to the boats to Potipot Island. Travel time: 5-10 mins.
- Take boat to Potipot Island. There are many boats available at the jump-off. Travel time: 10-15 mins.
Accommodation: No hotels or inns available. There are cottages for rent. You can pitch your own tent or rent one.
Estimated Budget: P2000
Days recommended: At least 2 days (Overnight)
Activities and Sights: Beach bumming. Enjoy the white sand and clear waters. Take pictures at the driftwood. Watch the sunrise and sunset sky. Circle Potipot Island. Get lost.
hi! what beach do you recommend for newbie solo backpackers? i’m planning on a trip to zambales alone and want to stay somewhere quiet and konti ang tao. will Talisayin Cove be a good choice or would you recommend anything else? 🙂

Hi Queenee, hindi naman malayo yun boat ride. Kaya naman. Pero be careful parin po. Medyo madami tao, baka hindi din po maging comfortable for the infant. 🙂
